Department’s Message

General Information regarding the Department of Mechanical Engineering can be summoned up as follows:

Eligibility: Graduates of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Naval Architectures, Mechatronics Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, and other similar engineering departments, and the Department of Physics and Mathematics. Graduates of other departments must enrol in the Pre-Master’s Programme.

Registration Requirements: Candidates must submit their copy of the ALES score, which must be at least 55 of quantitative weight. Candidates who do not submit their copy of the ALES score will be admitted as special students.

Research Areas: All fields of Mechanical Engineering.  

Learning Outcomes: Graduates of Mechanical Engineering Thesis Master’s Programme specialise in Mechanical Engineering and Technologies which is developing so that they can work as engineers in administrative departments of public or private institutions. They can enrol in a PhD programme in Mechanical Engineering, and work as research engineers in R&D companies or departments of institutions.
