Registration Procedures for Master’s Degree

Once you submit your original documents during registration, we will photocopy them, stamp the copies with the words ‘‘Certified True Copy’’, and return the original documents back to you. If you do not have the original documents with you, then the copies must be notarised. You cannot submit your application with copies which have not been notarised, and have not original versions available, or the copies which are only certified by other institutions and organisations.

Applications procedures consist of two stages. Firstly, you must submit your documents to the Registrar’s Office. Afterwards, you will be registered in the system, and you must submit the documents given by the Registrar’s Office to the Accounting Department. Secondly, the Accounting Department will activate your mail registration. Therefore, your application will be completed.

Required Registration Documents for Thesis Master’s Degree Programmes

1. Bachelor’s diploma (Original document or notarised copy)
2. Transcript (Original document or notarised copy)
3. Copy of the ALES (Academic Staff and Postgraduate Education Admission Exam) score (ÖSYM password required)
4. 5 Passport photographs (4,5x6 cm)
5. Identity card with TR ID number
6. Document indicating the discharge from military service, and
7. Certificate of Equivalence (for those who graduated from a university abroad)

Required Registration Documents for Non-Thesis Master’s Degree Programmes

1. Bachelor’s diploma (Original document or notarised copy)
2. Transcript (Original document or notarised copy)
3. 5 Passport Photographs (4,5x6 cm)
4. Identity card with TR ID number
5. Document indicating the discharge from military service, and
6. Certificate of Equivalence (for those who graduated from a university abroad)

Required Registration Documents to Apply for a Master’s Degree Programme as a Special Student

1. Bachelor’s diploma (Original document or notarised copy)
2. Transcript (Original document or notarised copy)
3. 5 Passport Photographs (4,5x6 cm)
4. Identity card with TR ID number, and
5. Certificate of Equivalence (for those who graduated from a university abroad)

For Master’s Degree Programmes at the Department of Fine Arts, Copy of the ALES score is not required.
