Research Areas: Contemporary Design Strategies in Interior Decoration for a Single Use or Multiple Use, Methodology of Flexible and Constant Geometric Systems in Vertical and Horizontal Interior Surface Elements Design, Effect of the Nature on Furniture Design, Contemporary Strategies in Natural or Artificial Interior Design, Flexible Approaches in Design, and Principles for Sustainable Material Preferences.

Learning Outcomes: 

Students:

  • Carry out research in interior decoration and surface design, comprehend these concepts, and applies the concepts by adding unique touches. 
  • Select sustainable materials of the Interior Architecture suitably for the intended purpose, and use them. 
  • Make use of the wind, sunlight, cold and hot springs to reach high quality in the interior design. 
  • Apply the principles of green interior design. 
  • Acquire the current written and visual information on the interior and furniture design, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and acquire the knowledge of the ethics, disciplines and culture of the group and individual research project. 

Interior Architecture Thesis Master’s Degree Programme

Eligibility: Interior Architects, Architects, Landscape Architects, Industrial Product Designers, Naval Architects, Civil Engineers, graduates of the Faculty of Art Design, and the Department of Performing Arts Design of the Faculty of Fine Arts may apply for the Programme. Graduates of other departments are offered a Pre-Master’s Programme. 

Registration Requirements:

 Candidates must submit their copy of the ALES score, which must be at least 55 of quantitative or equal weight. Candidates who do not submit their copy of the ALES score will be admitted as special students.
